Winter Olympics, my son wants to Luge
The shaking in Chili's 8.8 magnitude
Air travel disrupted from volcanic ash
The Deepwater Horizon goes down with a splash
Half way through the year and news slows just a little
Then miners in Chili get stuck in the middle
Finish it off with eclipse from the moon
Bring on the new decade, don't end too soon!
I broke the rules a bit, first time for everything I guess, but these are the major events I remember from this year. I know there were more, as seen here, but these were important to me in some way.
Happy New Year!

Thoughts, Passions, Adventures, Stories
I am a follower of Christ after what brings Him the most glory, and honestly it scares me sometimes!
I have an incredible & incredibly beautiful wife (Kristy) I love to be with.
I have 3 amazing sons who are all as rambunctious and adventurous as I am.
I am bent on finding and encouraging men to make the extraordinary seem normal in our pursuit of Christ, our families, and the world.

the chilean miners are the most present topic i remember from last year..oh and the volcana ashes of course - we had a japanese and a south african customer group over here for a seminar and it wasn't sure if and how we would get them back with all the canceled and delayed flights - was quite a nightmare from the organizational point of view...but we managed somehow - happy end..
